After Concern issued the call for submissions, I contacted Knut and asked him if he would come on-board with me to make a submission. We had numerous face-to-face meetings in both his workshop in Rathcoole and in mine here in Rhode.

We also had quite a few meetings with the Concern steering group in Concern’s H.Q., in Camden Street, Dublin.

Once we got the go ahead we started to order materials.Two years later (March 2020) we are fully engaged in producing the memorial.
